Classroom Teacher
Elementary Teacher opportunities are available at Resurrection Lutheran Academy, where we provide a nurturing environment to learn on the west side of South Bend. Our focus is sharing Christian love and grace with our students as they learn and grow educationally, as well as socially, emotionally and spiritually to the best of their ability. We are looking for energetic and caring teachers that will strive to create classrooms that will help our students thrive. Additionally, you need to be comfortable communicating with parents, building student relationships and a desire to interact with staff in developing a positive teamwork atmosphere. Some of your teaching responsibilities may include: religion, language arts, math, science, social studies & art.
Requirements: Indiana teaching license (or willing to transfer), willingness to continue your own education through professional development or classes, pass the criminal background check and child protective index history check.

Extended Care Worker
We are looking for energetic adults to care for students in our afterschool program. We have preschool-8th grade students that are in need of supervision after school. This is a part-time position, with regularly scheduled shifts during aftercare hours: Monday-Friday from 11:30-6:00 pm. Duties would include: supervising and caring for students, organizing & light cleaning of aftercare spaces, and maintaining an overall safe and caring environment. Applicants should be willing to build positive relationships with students, parents, faculty, and staff through communication, teamwork, and Christian love. All school employees are required to pass a criminal background and child protective index history check.
